Meet the Founder – Martell Willis
Martell Willis, founder and CEO of HRM Construction Company, brings over 22 years of combined experience in real estate, finance, and construction. His professional journey began in 2003 in mortgage banking as a loan officer, where he managed multimillion-dollar portfolios and contributed to subdivision development deals.
Fueled by an entrepreneurial spirit, Martell launched a residential remodeling company that eventually led to international projects. From Afghanistan to Kuwait and Dubai, he played a key role in construction operations for the U.S. and foreign military. During the post-2008 market crash, he expanded operations, oversaw base construction, and managed teams of 100+ personnel. His service was formally recognized with a Certificate of Appreciation, the Foreign Operating Base United States Flag from Camp Wolverine, and the Civilian Service Achievement Medal for merit and honor.
Blending his expertise in real estate, finance, general contracting, and leadership, Martell returned to the U.S. to pursue his passion by founding HRM Construction Company—a firm grounded in integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence. He leads the company with a hands-on approach, ensuring that every project reflects his dedication to quality and client satisfaction.
In addition to HRM Construction, Martell is a strong advocate for affordable housing. He founded HRM Housing Partners, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on providing newly constructed single-family and multifamily homes in affordable communities across Texas.
Martell resides in Fort Worth, Texas, with his wife and 3 adult daughters.
